Bill Wendlandt

Bill Wendlandt purchased the Blackwell Hotel in April of 2012.  The historical significance and architectural grandeur of the property caught his attention knowing it needed to come back to life.  Bill has a commercial real estate background with specialization in historic and landmark properties.  Bill previously owned the Arbor House Bed & Breakfast in San Antonio which was close to the famous "Riverwalk." The committment from Blackwell Hotel to the guests, from him and the staff, are attention to details and impeccable service.  Bill has had a residence in Coeur d'Alene for ten years and has been enjoying the beautiful lake city of Coeur d'Alene for the last twenty five years. 

Abigail Torres

Joining Blackwell Hotel, her experience brings her passion for hospitality, design and event planning to the city of Coeur d’Alene where she was born and raised. Abby’s continued desire to maintain Blackwell’s high expectation of service is met with a personal touch of life as a local and the desire for every guest to experience something unique and special. Her collective event & concierge experience from Scottsdale, San Jose del Cabo, Big Sky, Montana and locally in Coeur d'Alene has prepared her to fulfill the high-expectations in service Blackwell Hotel offers.
