For your convenience, we have listed all the policies of Blackwell Boutique Hotel, so you know what to expect during your visit. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact us.
Reservations: All reservations are held with a credit card. Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express are accepted. If you make a reservation thru a third party booking engine, Hotels.com, Expedia or Groupon, you will be asked to put a credit card on file upon your arrival. You must be 21 years of age to check into Blackwell Hotel.
Cancellation policy: The Blackwell Boutique Hotel is an exclusive property where every guest reservation is both important and special to us. If your travel plans change and you must cancel your reservation, please call us at least 3 days prior to your arrival date to cancel your reservation.
- We are a small business and cancellations affect us significantly. In the unlikely event that you must cancel with less than three (3) days’ notice, shorten your stay or check out early, please understand that we must ask you to take responsibility for your entire reservation regardless of the reason. If we can rebook your room(s), a refund less a service charge will be made.
- In the event of a last minute cancellation, we are able to issue a gift certificate for a future stay.
- Cancellation fee is $35.
- Rates/policies are subject to change and vary during high impact periods and special requests. A 30 day cancellation notice is required on whole house bookings, multiple room bookings, and for some holidays and special events.
- Cancellations or changes to a reservation must be made by telephone and verbally acknowledged.
Check-in time: 3pm - 6pm. Fees may apply for late check-in's due to our small operation and arrangements must be made prior to your arrival. Blackwell Hotel does not check-in guests after 9 pm or have a 24-hour front desk.
Quiet Hours: 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM (Strictly Enforced)
Check-out time: 11:00 AM.
Pets: The Blackwell Hotel is pet-free environment. Please inform the hotel in advance for service dogs used for medical purposes (seizures, sight, hearing, etc. Hotel may require a cleaning deposit upon check-in. Dogs whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support do not qualify as service animals under the ADA.
Rates: Room rates are based on double occupancy.
Gift Certificates: We accept Blackwell Hotel gift certificates as well as gift certificate issued by BedandBreakfast.com. Some restrictions may apply when using a third party certificate. If you have a gift certificate and are making an online reservation, please tell us in the "special needs" section along with the gift certificate source, number and amount.
Dietary Needs: If you have dietary constraints or are allergic to certain foods, please let us know when you make your reservation. We will make a reasonable attempt to accommodate your diet.
Alcohol: As a State Licenses establishment, Blackwell Hotel does not allow any outside alcohol. Beer and wine are for sale upon check in. Please call us if you would like something special in your room, and we will glady have it ready.
Smoking: No smoking is allowed anywhere on Blackwell Hotel property.
Damages: Upon check-in we require a credit card on hold for any damages beyond normal use of our amenities or at fault of the hotel. This includes furniture, linens, structural damage to the house, etc.
Candles: For guest safety and the protection of this historic house and its furnishings, the use of candles in guest rooms is prohibited.
Children: Please notify the hotel if you are traveling with children under the age of 12.
Occupancy: Each room can accommodate a maximum of two guests, with exception to Room 4 and Room 10. Only registered guests have the use of the property. Arrangements must be made in advance for visitors. Charges may apply for extra guests at breakfast.
